I’ve actually owned and used the 42″ UTG Covert case (http://www.amazon.com/Leapers-Homeland-Security-Covert-Case/dp/B001BEDQOG/) for years, and used to carry martial arts weapons (canes, bokkens, etc). This has meant that I’ve carried this bag into many offices, other buildings, and down the street on a regular basis (wood + the extreme temps that a car trunk can see can be bad). I have had zero people ask me what was in the bag extra attention from security types.

Of course, I live in “Music City,” and many people probably assume that it’s a guitar.

Jennifer carries an FNP-45 Tactical (Threaded barrel, 15 round magazine, .45 ACP). It absolutely disappears on her. When she demonstrated her holster for me at NRA Houston, I knew logically where the gun was likely carried, but I could not see any bulging or printing.

After that, I started carrying an FNX-45 (essentially the same gun, minor internal changes) most of the time.
