Erin Palette – Co-Host and Blue Collar Prepping Correspondent (Contact)
Erin Palette has been a prepper to one degree or another since she moved to Florida in 1987 and experienced her first hurricane season. Since then she has expanded her scope of prepping to include tornadoes, wildfires and zombie apocalypses. When she is not taking care of her elderly, accident-prone parents and their needy dogs, she can be found writing about low-budget prepping alongside her co-bloggers at www.bluecollarprepping.blogspot.com and talking about her nerdy interest in guns, role-playing games, and talking cartoon ponies at www.lurkingrhythmically.blogspot.com
Beth Alcazar – Pacifiers & Peacemakers (Contact)
Author of the “Pacifiers & Peacemakers” blog and featured writer in Concealed Carry Magazine, Beth Alcazar has enjoyed more than 16 years in the shooting/outdoors industry, covering everything from writing, editing, public relations and marketing to teaching, training, and program development. An NRA- and Sig Sauer Academy-certified instructor, USCCA training counselor, chapter leader of The Well Armed Woman, and action pistol competitor with the inaugural TWAW Shooting Team, Beth holds degrees in language arts, education, and communication management, and uses her experience and enthusiasm to share safe and responsible firearms ownership and usage with others. Beth lives in Alabama with her husband and their three children. Ultimately, this is why she still insists on describing herself as just a “mom with a gun.”
Barron Barnett – Tech Correspondent (Contact)
Barron is the owner, editor, and principal author at The Minuteman, a competitive shooter, and staff member for Boomershoot. Even in his free time he’s merging his love and knowledge of computers and technology with his love of firearms.
He has a BS in electrical engineering from Washington State University. Immediately after college he went into work on embedded software and hardware for use in critical infrastructure. This included cryptographic communications equipment as well as command and control devices that were using that communications equipment. Since then he’s worked on just about everything ranging from toys, phones, other critical infrastructure, and even desktop applications. Doing everything from hardware system design, to software architecture, to actually writing software that makes your athletic band do it’s thing.
Tiffany Johnson – The Bridge (Contact)
Part ivory tower, part proletariat; a liberal conservative and faithful skeptic; and just as averse to colorblindness as she is to racism — Tiffany sees connections with almost every dichotomy. She is a lawyer, a university faculty member, and after more than 20 years of anti-gun instincts, a born-again personal defense advocate and certified firearms instructor. She has trained for the past 15 years under Tom and Lynn Givens of Rangemaster, and she currently blogs at www.FrontSightPress.com. Her passion is bridging divides and dispelling stereotypes, which she hopes to do a little bit at a time in her segment, “The Bridge.”
Weer’d Beard – Anti-gun Nuttery Correspondent (Contact)
As a former anti-gun person who’s seen the error to his ways, Weer’d has developed a taste for reading anti-gun blogs and propaganda and showing the errors of the anti-gun and anti-freedom philosophy. As many have said “Weer’d reads them so you don’t have to!”
He’s also a research scientist, and a new Dad, and loves him some podcasts!
